Adjusting to the COVID-19 pandemic: A webinar recap

by | Apr 6, 2020

COVID-19 has upended our reality leaving us to battle not only a public health crisis, but an economic one as well. It is imperative that the global community unite to combat the spread of the virus and mitigate the damage to our economy.

At Simon Data, we realize that we have a responsibility to assist marketers as they navigate the treacherous and uncertain waters of this new economy. This is why our Strategic Advisory team has worked quickly over the last few weeks to create this guide and to build the accompanying webinar, Adjusting to the COVID-19 pandemic: Engaging Customers and Managing a Marketing Function through Crisis, which we hosted on Tuesday, April 7th.

During the session, Danielle Henneberger, our Director of Strategic Advisory shared expert insights into changing consumer habits and advice for marketers on how to develop long and short-term strategies and messaging to respond to those shifting behaviors. Danielle also highlighted next steps to aid all marketers especially those navigating the verticals most impacted by the crisis, such as Travel, Leisure, and Hospitality, Retail (discretionary and non-discretionary), and Banking and Financial Services. Our VP of Strategic Initiatives, Brian Thompson, shed light on what marketers should consider as they brace for recovery in the wake of COVID-19 before taking real-time questions from our audience.

To supplement the insights offered during the webinar, Danielle shared a number of helpful resources to assist our webinar attendees in staying up-to-date on the impact of COVID-19 on the world and markets. We want to make sure these resources are made available to everyone so, we’ve included them below for your convenience:

If you missed the webinar, don’t fret—we’ve made the presentation available on-demand. We truly hope you find this content informative and useful as we all work toward a brighter future.
